Grass verges outside people's houses have not been cut / de-weeded. Before the roads were adopted these were cut 6-8 times a year throughout the spring/summer/autumn at the same time as the grass area's around Marston Green Park on Paradise Orchard/Noble Crescent. Last year they were not cut at all. The grass gets very long & giant weeds grow making it difficult to walk on for the children going to school (no public footpaths in this area so forced to walk on the road) some of the weeds are now taller than my 6 year old. The park area has been cut twice now (beginning of May & last week) Please can you advise when the rest of the streets will be cut?
Updates

An officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and arrange to have the issue resolved as soon as possible after that.
We can confirm that our grass cutting programme for this year has commenced.
Please be advised that we are unable to give specific dates for urban grass cutting. Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.

Rural grass started w/c 17 April and will end w/c 5 JunePlease note, planned dates may be delayed due to weather conditions.

In addition, we will continue to monitor all issues on the public highway as part of our Highways Safety Inspection Policy and take appropriate action when required.
