Footpath crossing dual carriageway on Tingewick byass

Reported via Android in the Sign problem category anonymously at 15:47, Fri 26 May 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4600544.

Further to my report about lack of signs warning drivers about pedestrians in the road.

As an alternative to adding signage about this crossing is it possible to consider removing the foot crossing of the bypass at this point. There are safe alternatives crossings in both directions either using the tunnel at finmere or the bridge at Tingewick, wood lane. If there is no opposition then closure could avoid walkers crossing a dangerous road.
