Church Lane car park - first hour free

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4594535.

We receive on a regular basis a high number of calls complaining that "new(ish)" paying machines installed at Church Lane Car park in Chalfont St Peter are not easy to use. Also, the sign says that the first hour is £0.80 when in fact the Parish Council pays for the first hour so it is free. Also, the instructions on what to do for the first hour are not clear (do users have to display ticket? do users just leave the car and not pay for the first hour? ) Thank you in advance for clarifying and addressing this issue.
