Exit junction from the Churchfield Road with the Vale

Reported via mobile in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 09:42, Thursday 25 May 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4594123.

Trucks unloading, waiting to unload or preparing trucks for unloading to Grand and Stone are blocking the cross junction, ignoring double yellow lines. It is on going problem. They stop in the middle of the cross junction. Then it is impossible to enter or leave the Churchfield Road. They are blocking the road exit/entrance because they don't want to block their second gate. It was reported many times in the past and double yellow lines appeared, but they are being ignored by truck drivers delivering to Grand and Stone. Sometimes they move when approached but often refusing to move, being very rude, forcing people to reverse all the way through Churchfield Road. And this is very narrow road and impossible to turn. It is also dangerous for pedestrians to cross the road, especially school children going to school, as it is usually during morning school run. I personally can't get to my drive when that junction is blocked. And honestly do I have to ask truck driver to move when I want to leave my driveway or park there?
