Most days for past 20yrs people either block access or block me from exiting my driveway, or they park on the pavement right up against the driveway and my garden leaving no access to the only pavement for me and my dog to walk on when we leave our property by foot. I have spoken to these new neighbours who all park on the pavement or blocking the pavement or drive and one told me to F*** off recently. 20yrs we have put up with the turn circle being congested by the neighbours who don't even live here but live in Numbers 1 - 8 the Bartletts. I have put up small polite signs asking people not to block access or park up against my drive but they really couldn't care less. I have maintained the road and pavements all around the turn circle as when it rains heavily it floods badly so doing this helps keep spaces for residents to park but i think nowadays why should i bother anymore if it just gets me abuse from inconsiderate parkers. The driveway curb was dropped originally but the gas workmen never put the curb back down to it original height after putting in new pipe. The driveway was angled to face the road as the neighbours fence right opposite my drive i have damaged and repaired it a few times because it's been difficult to get my estate car out when blocked in. Cars have been vandalised in the past due to the parking congestion and i have had to install a camera as my new car was smashed up whilst parked on the driveway. I think if nothings done soon i'll write to my new local MP and then the House of Commons. I know parkings bad nowadays but i detest people who park on pavements and block people's driveways.....No need for it.
