Customer has called again as he has received the reply to his report stating that the grass cutting schedule for the first cut runs until 19/06/23. The customer has advised that the grass being this long is dangerous as he is unable to see vehicles when he is trying to get out of his property. He has advised that he has to edge out slowly as he cant see what is coming. Caller advises that where he cant see this is making cars swerve to avoid him as he is edging out.

An officer will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and arrange to have the issue resolved as soon as possible after that.
We can confirm that our grass cutting programme for this year has commenced.
Please be advised that we are unable to give specific dates for urban grass cutting. Our works programme is very weather dependant and subject to delays. We therefore ask that you remain patient should there be delays or excessive growth in-between cuts.

We have now made an inspection of the report, the issue reported has been added to a package of works for this location and will be addressed when we are next in the area.
There is no immediate action that is required at this stage.
