Traffic lights for crossing not working

The traffic lights were turnt off for a week and replaced with tempory lights whilst road works were being done. The temporary lights were taken away on Saturday 13th May 2023 and the main lights were not switched back on. It is now dangerous to cross as there are two lanes of fast traffic which can travel at 40mph. I was with my eldery family member and it took us 30minutes before crossing the road. This is main crossing which is used by many people to get to sainsburys supermarket and the nursery situated on that side of the road. Very unsafe for families with young and elderly family members
