Request to site speed indicator device

Reported via desktop in the Sign problem category anonymously at 16:12, Wed 17 May 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4566443.

Good Afternoon Clifford ,

Previously we were looking to put back the 20 MPH speed signs at the entrance to Lower Rd, but you informed us that that section of Lower Rd up to Side Road is maintained by Bucks CC Highways and therefore is a 30 MPH zone. We have looked into siting a 20 MPH Speed Limit Reminder past Side Road but have not been able to locate a suitable site. We have another suggestion and wanted to know if you have any objections or recommendations . We would like to put up a Vehicle activated Speed Indicator Device outside the community hall on our land. We have a couple of possible sites, one by the kissing gate or in the flower bed outside the hall. This will be funded by ourselves and a kind donation from Martin Bakers. Below is a photo with the two possible location sites. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards Peter Bryant (On behalf of the Higher Denham community association CIO Committee )
