Oxford Road, Stone, Bucks when entering the village from Thame side.

Reported via mobile in the Sign light not working category anonymously at 15:42, Sunday 7 May 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4525939.

Reported in 2021, 2022 and 2023 the speed restriction sign lights remain not working with one of the signs also twisted (30mph speed signs when entering Stone village from Thame, 50mph on the other side). It is no surprise to see now the traffic bollard in the centre of the road adjacent to the speed signs, has been completely demolished (damage report by member of the public at 15.14pm Tuesday 25April 2023). This was an accident waiting to happen as the previous reports during the last two years to fix and illuminate the signs has not been expedited. This part of the road is dark with the traffic island on a slight kink in the road where a collision with the island was inevitable. This will now cost the public purse more unnecessary funds. Can the signs be illuminated again before another collision with the island occurs ?
