Fairford Leys football pitches

Reported via Android in the Park category anonymously at 12:14, Tuesday 2 May 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4507984.

Myself & my husband were running around one of the football pitches, for exercise so we run round several times, & a group of people with their dogs off their leads could not recall the dogs when they ran at us barking constantly. 4 big & 2 medium size. This was very intimidating & they took sometime to get them away from us. One owner calling over to us as they didn’t attempt to retrieve the dog, they won’t hurt you, I replied but I don’t know that. It was unacceptable when we are using the facilities for sport & think for walking dogs should only be allowed on their leads. Another couple had 3 dogs on long leads & that didn’t cause a problem. Please can you make this a sport facility first & dog walking second. Also this isn’t the first time this has happened, I just felt I need to tell someone. Thank you
