Cars parking on corner of Dollicott & Carwithen Close too close to junction

Reported via desktop in the Parking in a restricted space category anonymously at 10:38, Thursday 20 April 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4465316.

In contravention of Highway Code rule 243 (DO NOT stop or park: opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space). Many vehicles have been parking on the corner of Dollicott and Carwithen Close. These vehicles mainly belong to employees of the business park, and the red car in the image belongs to an employee of Mobile PPL. I have tried asking the individuals to not park there and have also contacted the company direct to no avail. This poses a risk to anyone driving out of Carwithen Close as it is near impossible to see out of the junction when vehicles are parked here. Vehicles parking here have also caused obstructions which would make it very hard for emergency services to get through. It is also very dangerous for any pedestrians trying to walk through, as there is no footpath and nowhere to move if a vehicle is coming round the bend, blind sighted by the illegally parked vehicle.
