Incorrect and misleading parking fees

I paid £1.60 for 2 hours parking in Jennery Lane car park in Burnham this afternoon as this is the rate that is shown on the big white sign which hits you and displays the parking fees. See photo and my ticket. When I checked the return time on my ticket I noticed that I had only got an hours parking which wasn't long enough for my hair appointment. I returned to the machine and someone else had purchased a 2 hour ticket and only got an hours parking. The gentleman noticed a small piece of paper on the otherside of the machine with a very small print which isn't easy to see and read and stated that 2 hours parking was now £1.70. See photo which I enlarged. Lots of people who came to the machine when I was there had not noticed the piece of paper on the opposite side of the machine. I am very annoyed that it cost me £3.65 to park my car for 2 hours as I paid with Ringo before seeing the white sheet of paper. Incorrect parking fees are clearly displayed on the white board and what everyone looks at, not a piece of paper with very small print nowhere near the large sign. Not everyone checks the return time on their tickets it is just lucky that I did. This seens like a way of making money and fining people for not returning in an hour when they thought they had paid for two hours. Why hasn't a new board been put up with the new fees? The other gentleman was very annoyed about this. He would have put his ticket in his car if I hadn't told him about only getting an hour. We are being honest and paying for our parking and could have been fined because of old parking fees being clearly displayed to everyone. It is also very wrong that the machine doesn't give change.
