The repair made in January has completely failed. the pothole is now larger and deeper, and the repair material scattered across the road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by P L Roberts at 13:31, Wed 12 April 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4429697.

Lower St, is effectively a one way street because of several large vehicles regularly parked opposite this pothole. There is a reported and unrepaired failed manhole cover adjacent to it too, so one or the other is difficult to avoid. Additionally, Lower Street is part of the designated Diversion Route around Station Road (closed until the end of 2023). This has generated a big increase in two way traffic through Lower Street, including large 40ton HGV's carrying aggregate materials associated with the HS2 works. If the same material used on the original repair is used to repair this now larger pothole it will only last a few days....!
