Alleyway by Coopers Rise and Pinions road
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 13:25, Mon 10 April 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4420152.
- two or three blocked drains due to poor maintenance of the alleyway. Drains are full of leaves, therefore whenever it rains the alleyway is dangerous and slippery. - exceptionally poor tar mac. Unstable and uneven road surface. Highly dangerous, and has been needed to be fixed now for two years. - apparent graffiti worsening due to the lack of maintenance on the alleyway. Bricks are now being pulled out of the wall. No mirrors for pedestrians to see what vehicles are coming round the corner from pinions Road and Coopers rise. Exceptionally intimidating alleyway for unaccompanied men and women to use on their own, particularly at night.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
