Gridlock around Great Horwood

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4398811.

The A4033 Great Horwood to Winslow Rd is closed which means most of the traffic to Milton Keynes will go via Buckingham then on to the A421 towards Milton Keynes. So today traffic lights went up on the A421 near Singleborough causing absolute gridlock and mayhem with the extra traffic. Surely this could have better planning, its making a 5 mile journey last up to an hour!!! It also needs a " no through road" sign put at the end of Pilch lane, a narrow country lane being used as a cut through!!!
