All drains in this area of the road are blocked and whenever there is heavy rain they overflow and the whole street at this end floods completely and quickly. The gardens of 70 & 68 Dedmere Rd flood badly. As there are no traffic restrictions on Dedmere Rd quite a lot of vehicles still continue to speed through the flood waters and push it further into residential gardens. This happens on a regular basis and is definitely getting more extreme. It has worsened in the last 4 years. It is unacceptable as our properties are becoming increasingly at risk, our gardens waterlogged and our parked cars drenched and damaged by flood waters.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
If the flooding is caused by a water leak we will report it to the relevant utility company to repair.

We have now inspected the area and our assessment is that no action is required at this stage.
The issue reported will be added to a package of works for this location and will be addressed when we are next in the area.
