Due to the heavy rain today, immediately outside my front gate is flooded again and travelling under my front gate and into my garden. This was reported previously in Nov 22 where someone visited and spoke to me to confirm that drainage needs to be made in the verge to send the rain away from my house (which is circa 1700s and listed) into the road and ideally down a drain. This still hasn’t been dealt with and when we have bad weather this is what happens. This was resurfaced in 2021 following my campaign to get the pavement repaired and should have included fixing the drainage problem but this was missed off and is still causing a problem. Please could someone contact me directly to confirm when this will be resolved. Thank you

    If the flooding is caused by a water leak we will report it to the relevant utility company to repair.
