Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later.
FixMyStreet ref: 4382105.
The drain is blocked, causing water to flood the entire road and into driveways as traffic passes. I am at The Glens and water has flooded right into my entire front driveway to a depth of around 2 - 3 cm. I reported a similar issue last winter but don't know if it was attended to or not.
12/06 - Called to get an update or an eta of the works as this needs to get done sooner rather than later.
This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.

An order has been raised to repair the defect reported, this will be a permanent repair to be carried out within the next 16 weeks. To ensure the highway network remains as safe as possible we will be carrying out temporary repairs on dangerous issues to make them safe, please be assured we will revisit these temporary repairs and make them permanent at a later date, we will also continue to carry out our regular Highways Safety Inspection Policy and should we find any issues we will apply the same rule a temporary repair until such time as we can make it permanent.
