Past the side entrance to Chequers

Reported via desktop in the Litter/litter bins category anonymously at 14:47, Monday 27 March 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4364469.

Question: From Butlers Cross, South Missenden Road has an ongoing major litter problem. From the point were the road rises to go up hill past the side entrance to Chequers, right the way through, past Victory Gates, and past Cadsden Road. It is littered with cans, fast food packaging and other rubbish. The uphill section before the Chequers side entrance is particularly bad, as it is impossible to litter pick unless that section of the road is closed. The hill, the bends, and speed of traffic create a potential hazard for anyone on foot. Considering that this is the official country home of any Prime Minister,(regardless of party), any visiting dignitary travelling by road will be appalled by the state of the road.Considering that this is in an ANOB makes it even more of a problem. What if anything can be done to clear this road at least once a quarter and deter or prosecute litter pickers?

Further to the above Mr Hambly has called and wanted to clarify much of this waste is along the verges as he wasn't sure if these would be cleared as a standard or if this would need to be highlighted. Please bare this in mind when ordering any works.
