Large Beech Tree outside no.40 Glenister road, overhanging the road

Large Beech Tree outside no. 40(?) and opposite no.17 Glenister road, now has large overhanging branches, which are being knocked off by large vehicles / lorries. The branches are at risk of falling on cars and people when knocked off. Large amount of falling leaf litter still on road (Has been reported already but nothing done). Trees need cutting back. Issue has been present since Winter.
03/05 - Called chasing, needs looking at sooner rather than later.

This has been passed to our maintenance team who will carry out an assessment of the tree and provide an update within 28 days.

An order has been raised to repair the defect reported, this will be a permanent repair to be carried out within the next 16 weeks. To ensure the highway network remains as safe as possible we will be carrying out temporary repairs on dangerous issues to make them safe, please be assured we will revisit these temporary repairs and make them permanent at a later date, we will also continue to carry out our regular Highways Safety Inspection Policy and should we find any issues we will apply the same rule a temporary repair until such time as we can make it permanent.
