End of Highfield Road flooding again
Reported via iOS in the Flooding on a road/footpath category anonymously at 13:18, Thu 23 March 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4350064.
Clearly the whole road drainage and sump need redesigning before someone is injured with huge amounts of water on an A road. It’s been like this for the last 30 years. No amount of drain cleaning works, because they fill up with silt washed down the hill from new road. Please reengineer this.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
If the flooding is caused by a water leak we will report it to the relevant utility company to repair.

Buckinghamshire Council highway maintenance has been delivered through a partnership called Transport for Buckinghamshire for 13 years.
From 1st April all Highways services will be delivered through a new organisational structure known as Buckinghamshire Highways. This will result in the future delivery of highways services via a new suite of contractors, operating as an alliance to better reflect the needs and priorities of our residents across the county.
We are currently in the transition period and to ensure the highway network remains safe we will be carrying out temporary repairs on high priority defects. Permanent repairs will follow.
We will also continue to carry out our regular highway safety inspections and should we find any issues we will apply the same rule.
Historical reports are being transferred to the new system, and we will ensure they are revisited during the coming months.
Thank you in advance for your patience and continued support.Buckinghamshire Council
