There two problems the granite setts at junction of the crossover and road are low at one point allowing rainwater from the road to drain down the crossover into footpath and settle along our driveway.Secondly the drain age channel is not laid to fall and does run nearest drain gulley. Currently the only way the water gets away is via the water meter covers set in Lovetts road. The result is the road is sinking making the flooding worse

  • This has been passed to the local area technician to investigate the enquiry/issue regarding the footpath/pavement/cyclepath.

    They will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days and if required arrange to resolve the issue.

    We have now made an inspection of the report, the issue reported has been added to a package of works for this location and will be addressed when we are next in the area.

    There is no immediate action that is required at this stage.
