Drivers cannot see around parked car on stanley hill when they are exiting Lincoln Park. At peak times people park on the double yellow lines. Trying to see round them and having to pull out into the traffic to do so is dangerous.

Reported via desktop in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 19:07, Thursday 16 March 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4322571.

Residents complain that they cannot see around the cars parked down the hill from the exit from Lincoln park. They have to pull out beyond the dotted white lines, into the lane for traffic coming down the hill towards them, in order to see what is coming up the hill, if they wish to turn right and go uphill. When I took the attached photos, I watched a driver in a regular saloon car doing exactly that in order to drive out onto Stanley Hill. I could not take a photo from the driver's seat myself, when I had to do the same, because of course it is illegal to use a mobile phone while driving. So the attached photos are the best I could do, taken at a height of about 5 feet, rather than from a lower position in a driver's seat. But I can testify that it is a problem. In addition the cars parking on the grass verge are ruining the grass verge and come very close to the pavement , which is used by a lot of school children at the end of the school day.
