Mixed rubbish is not being collected

Reported via iOS in the Flytipping (off-road) category anonymously at 14:25, Sunday 12 March 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4304008.

There are lots of bins on West Wycombe Road where the residents have mixed up recycling and general waste. I have given you two photos here of bins outside 259 and 246 as examples, but these are not the only ones. Given that your contractors refuse to collect waste in the mix bins, this is just resulting in a lot of rubbish being left lying around which blows in the wind and causes a lot of litter. There is a health aspect of this, as it is attracting vermin et cetera. I realise that in an ideal world people would separate their bins correctly, but, surely, when it is mixed up, it makes more sense for the general waste collection to just empty it, rather than leaving it lying around and turning our home environment into a pigsty? We try really hard to keep it tidy but are fed up of other people’s rubbish just left lying around and and making a complete mess.
