Restricting access to private driveways and public pavements

Reported via mobile in the Blocking a private drive category anonymously at 12:49, Monday 23 January 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4161725.

Every single day, parents picking kids up from Turnfurlong Primary school line the roads, and often park in, or across private driveways for a long time. We have had abuse shouted at us by parents after politely asking them to move their vehicle off our property, or to allow access to our driveway. We have already complained to the school multiple times. We understand parking is an issue but something has to be done. I've even seen parents parking in the middle of the road, in between rows of idling cars on both sides, get out, and run up the road to meet their children, completely blocking traffic on Webster Road, and King Edward avenue. It's insane. Getting a US style bus service going would help, and alleviate traffic, and parental time. It's been going on for years. Nothing is done.
