Action scheduled
Corner of Parsonage Lane outside Cut Heath Building works
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on a road/footpath category anonymously at 13:13, Mon 16 January 2023
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4135802.
A report of this has already been logged I see back at the start of January, however due to the huge problem of flooding and blocked drains outside both Cut Heath and the farm land opposite, the flooding has got worse. The issue now is that it looks like the blocked ditch outside Cut Heath has been dug away to allow it to flow down the road (on the road), which I believe is not something that should be done as the road is now even worse and will soon cause further problems. This issue needs resolving ASAP and the ditches that belong to the Cut Heath area and then opposite the road on the farm land need to be cleared so this is not effecting the road as its dangerous and looks terrible.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
If the flooding is caused by a water leak we will report it to the relevant utility company to repair.

Can you be specific on 'Action Scheduled' please? What is going to happen? Please be specific as this is making Parsonage Lane and that specific part of the road a mess, as well as very dangerous when it ices over. Please can you update with exact specifics.

Please can you update us on this again? The team at Cut Heath appear to have blocked the gap from that ditch but it is still an issue. I have spoke to them directly and they are also struggling because the drains are blocked or need properly looking at to resolve the issue all the way down Parsonage Lane. This needs Council intervention, and not just each land owner to be clearing leaves to resolve it. There is a bigger issue with the ditches down the road on both sides so if someone can contact us to help resolve, please do ASAP as its destroying the road and its a mess and dangerous.
