Service road behind shops Hampden Gardens Southcourt Aylesbury

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping (off-road) category anonymously at 13:39, Mon 9 January 2023

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 days, 1 hour, 47 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 4104995.

This has been reported before, last week and told it was sorted, but it hasn’t also as regards Black Dustbin Bags with Dirty Nappies in and all over the road, seen by Neighbours,Flats 86 Hampden Gardens Southcourt have been throwing their bags over the Balcony onto the ground below and then discarded but not put into a Bin where the Community Refuge is Collected. I am concerned for my area as I have had three prospective Buyers to buy my Flat as I have a Mobility problem can’t get downstairs in my Two Bedroom Flat. These Buyers were keen to Buy until they went on my Balcony and said no because of the existing environment in the Area, with no one picking up rubbish in front on my block of Flats and the disgusting area in the Service Road. There was a Ref to the Area on map when last reported 1401118. But this Rubbish has now been added to, so Have more unsightly rubbish.

Updates

  • This has been passed to our Highways Team, who will carry out an inspection and arrange for the appropriate action to be taken.

Our priority is clearing the obstruction on the public highway to make it safe, this may mean that the fly tip is moved to the side of the road for a period of time before safe removal is arranged.

Please be assured we will come back and clear it, but in the meantime we will monitor it in line with our Highways Safety Inspection Policy.
