Only half pinewood road is gritted

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4038425.
The steepest part of Pinewood Road gets gritted (adjoining Lane End Road) during icy conditions, but the top of the road is not gritted. This is ridiculous as there is still a substantial gradient where the gritting stops, just before Stanley Road. This means drivers living on the top section of the road have a smooth run returning home from Lane End Road (or Toweridge lane, which is also gritted at its steepest part) until they reach Stanley Road and then conditions become suddenly treacherous.
It makes no sense to grit only half this road. The rest of the road should be gritted too. The fact that half the road is gritted tempts people to drive to the safe part.
Not gritting the whole road also isolates the numerous elderly people living on Pinewood Road who fear the road conditions at the top and don;t want to get in an accident because of it.
Can we please ensure that this whole road is gritted

This has been passed to our Winter Maintenance Team.
We have a pre agreed salting/gritting route which is determined prior to winter to allow us to plan out the routes. Whilst we unfortunately can’t salt every single road in the county, we do cover over 44% of the county’s road network, a figure well above the national average.
Most precautionary (primary) salting will be carried out during the evening or overnight, to avoid higher levels of traffic.
For information on how we decide which roads to salt and when, please visit our webpage: Winter Salting.
Foot paths are not routinely salted however, when possible, they may be cleared and treated after snowfall.
Salt bins are filled before and during the winter season as priorities allow. They are provided at various locations throughout the county, which we encourage the public to use to treat localised icy conditions if necessary.
