Water flooding both sides of the road as most drains from Hilltop to the Drakes Drive roundabout are blocked.

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4022813.
The Thames water leak by the properties at the junction of Harroell and the B4011 has been moved twice this year but not fixed. The Spring seems to pump into the road rather than into it's stone sink. The drains from Hilltop to Drakes Drive roundabout are mostly blocked, some collapsed and sunken. Water from the leak and the spring cannot drain away. This morning at 9:30 it was minus 3 and the road was frozen over. This happens most winters in recent years and for the same reasons. BCC clearly know about this problem and it would be interesting to know if they can therefore be held responsible in the event of an RTA caused by frozen water that can't drain.

This has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
