Hedges overgrowing footpath

Reported via desktop in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 07:10, Wed 9 November 2022

Sent to Akeley Parish Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3949708.

The hedges next to the footpath are overgrown. Due to a road closure there is a change to the school bus stop in the village and children now have to regularly walk along this path. However, the hedges (hawthorn, blackberry/brambles, stinging nettles) grow over the path so there no option to walk in the road along this stretch. It is a narrow stretch of road where two cars can only just pass so very dangerous when larger vans need to get past.
