Pampas grass obstructing pavement and risk to underground services

Reported via desktop in the Weed problem on the highway category anonymously at 13:15, Thu 18 August 2022

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3764105.

This plant grows very rapidly and obstructs the pavement. It also has leaves with dangerously sharp edges. The root system will be extensive and is a risk to the water main and electricity cables which are close by. I do not know how close the gas main is. Although it is on Council land I have frequently paid to have the plant trimmed. I would now like it completely removed to avoid further expense, inconvenience and damage. I had it trimmed this week and it will be easier to remove it before it regrows.
