Drain cover in slip road over sized gap in cover, caused small dod to have its leg fall through and injure itself, report my member of public

Reported via mobile in the Manhole cover broken/missing category by Ian Whipp Cllr NLPC at 15:54, Mon 15 August 2022

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3755741.

The drain measurement is 3.5cm metal to 4.5cm gap. The ‘standard’, based on others particularly the one outside our boundary wall on Ivy Lane, is 3cm metal to 3 cm gap, so the one where fell through has a 50% wider gap. Her paw measures 4.5cm. Also cover below surface of road. Cover needs raising and one with a smaller gap between grates.
