Standing foul water between our property and the neighbouring property, the water will eventually undermine the wall between our property and the affected property. Property agent advised (Connells) 4 weeks ago that foul smelling water was evident from the property. No action has been taken. Weeds and slime now visible on water at front of property. In warm weather it becomes very smelly.

  • Thank you for your report regarding a drainage issue, which has been passed to the Local Area Technician to investigate.

    We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.

    The Local Area Technician will carry out an inspection within 10 days and order a repair if required.
