Footpath surface worn away

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Cllr Jane MacBean at 19:22, Thu 23 June 2022

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3619092.

The surface of the footpath at the corner of Chartridge Lane and West Dean Lane is almost completely worn away. A lot of water flows down this pathway as evidenced by the recent critical drainage works carried out in the area. As there is very little surface left it is exceptionally slippery and dangerous even when dry. This is a major walking route between Chesham and Chartridge Village, used by elderly residents, school children that attend Chartridge School and walk back into town to attend Chiltern Hills Academy. This needs proper remedial work to return it to a safe and fit for purpose state.
