Curved stretch of road extending South East from Widmer End boundary sign to beyond the dip
Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 22:48, Thu 27 January 2022
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3265965.
Inadequate skid resistance on the road surface has contributed to at least three separate collisions within the past two years, two of which were directly outside Ashcroft/Oppywood. The photographed incident occurred this morning and could easily have resulted in serious injuries. In the immediate aftermath, another vehicle skidded 10 to 20 meters when braking to avoid the crashed vehicles. The vehicles involved did not appear to be travelling at excessive speed.
