Shop Parking

The parking around the local shop is becoming dangerous. There are no clear markings where people should and shouldn’t be parking. This is causing dangerous conditions for the residents (both pedestrians and drivers) from Olde Bell Close, Lodge Lane, Harrup Close and the customers from the garage and shop, especially when turning from/to Leighton Road. This is also causing access issues for refuse and emergency services to these residential and business premises. Not to mention the illegal parking and turning on private roads and driveways. Now the road has finally been resurfaced this area at the very least is in need of road markings ie. parking bays, double yellows etc. However a full access/traffic review of this area is vitally needed.
