B482 between Cadmore End School and the pub (Old Blue Flag)

Reported via mobile in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 09:12, Fri 15 October 2021

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

The hedges are encroaching upon the carriageway on both sides in such a way that they cars are having to go on the other side of the road to avoid them. I hit my wing mirror and broke it yesterday trying to avoid a car doing just that. I broke my wing mirror on one of these hedges. The road is far too narrow for cars let alone lorries. It is also hiding the school sign which is a safeguarding issue as it stops cars slowing down. I would say both sides need cutting back by about 75cm at least. Routine maintenance only trims them and each year it is getting worse as the hedges get further and further into the road. It is now dangerous to road users though. I can not photograph as it's too dangerous.
