Main street, chackmore, outside Brewhouse

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

The drains are not working on the Main Street and when we get a heavy rainfall, the water collects in front of the Brewhouse and Manor House. It has happened 3 times in 2020 and has flooded the garage of the Brewhouse once. I raised a ticket before ref 40150480. The work is scheduled but will not happen for a while by the sounds of it. That will not help me when it rains heavily. I have asked for sand bags before but none have appeared. Please can I have some sand bags to help stop the garage flooding next time?

  • Thank you for your report; the repair has been added to our programme of works.
    Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be carried out as we programme the work on a priority basis (in line with our Highway Inspection Policy). This does mean that sometimes planned programme times may need to be changed due to priority based working.
