2 completely blocked drains at Furzefield Lane
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 17:28, Thu 16 July 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2203711.
In addition to the blocked drains that have already been reported multiple times, on the opposite side of the lane in the same location - there are 2 further drains in an even worse state. They are blocked with soil and now have established weeds/grass growing. These failing drain are the fundamental reason why the lane floods heading past our house and down to the Swan Bottom cross roads. This means there are now SIX blocked drains in the space of less than 100 metres. It is not an acceptable response to say they will be addressed in a 'cyclical clearing' program. This is an urgent issue which is effecting properties along the lane and needs addressing ASAP.

Again after heavy storms 12/8/20 and more in the forecast - these drains are not doing their job - or even being given a chance to. We cannot face another winter where the lane and houses with driveways have to think of flood defence.
