400m stretch of A418 has no street lights including pedestrian crossing
Reported in the Street light not working category anonymously at 20:43, Fri 3 April 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later
Approaching from Oxford direction towards Aylesbury as you enter Stone Village. Street lights are all out. At dusk and after this stretch of road is dangerous. Currently in lockdown, people are walking and cycling along it at all manner of times. Cars are noticeably speeding and it is pitch black. It’s a 30mph zone and the lights should be on. The pedestrian crossing lights are also out as they are in this stretch. The roundabout signs will only be lit by car head lights approaching. I can see this was reported on 24 March by another person. Please can it be considered further as it feels like an accident waiting to happen. many thanks.
