This pothole (fixed on Tuesday) needs fixing again

Pothole has reopened into hole 6" deep and a foot across, 5 days after repair. You can see the fresh tarmac patches in the photo attached - and the various bits the main one has disintegrated into. I suspect the whole area (1 sq meter?) of cracked surface needs to be dug up and one larger repair done.
