This issue has been raised several times before and had been going on for months now. When it rains this stretch of road becomes quote dangerous and with the freezing weather recently the stretch has become and skating patch. With further cold weather due this needs prioritising.

This is a accident black spot because of the Water and Holes. I have been in so many near misses along this bit of the road. I have witnessed several bumps and my collegue had a car slam into the back of him on the ice the other morning due to the Water issue. This needs to be moved up to be looked at immediately as it has been going on now since the summer. It is a busy school route.

The repair the council did resulted in the pipe bursting 24 hours later causing the road to be closed for 72 hours while the water company administered emergency repairs. All the council appeared to do was place a bit of tarmac over a hole. This was not the correct thing to do.
