150 metres west from duffield lane junction a series of deep potholes across the entire lane; deep and dangerous; several other areas are verging on being a danger to motorists

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:10, Wed 4 April 2018

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later

Serious large and deep potholes are present at this point.

I would add that there are a series of deep rutted areas on either side of the lane for at least 100m as you drive west. They oblige drivers to stop to allow others to proceed otherwise there is staionary traffic.

At junction with Beaconsfield road there is a very deep pothole around a metal service plate/grid.

At junction with Windsor road there is a pothole which is increasing in depth and area every day.

Templewood Lane has a road surface over much of its length worthy of a third world nation. It must be resurfaced when ALL the potholes have been dealt with - and these repairs are now a matter of urgency. ACT NOW - after all we pay council tax for a reason!

  • Is there any indication when this will be dealt with ?

I've heard through the 'Stoke Poges' grapevine of cars getting punctures and front bumper scrapping when the front wheels disappear into the huge pothole. Many thanks.

  • Templewood lane is in a shocking state of disrepair.. the entire road from the A355 to B416 is a mess, riddled with potholes which are mostly hidden under large puddles when it rains.. it is a dangerous condition and I have been reporting it since November 2017. Of course it has deteriorated considerably since then! It requires urgent attention

  • This hole now has a cone in it. South Bucks is totally forgotten. Please remember its not just Milton Keynes and Aylesbury that need repairing.

  • Continuing the problem in Templewood Lane. Cones around the pot /sink hole covering half the road. Police are also aware as signs left to warn drivers.

  • It took the police to be involved and some tarmac has been put in. However its sunk, please tell us all that this is a temporary repair and you will get a contractor to dry it out and fill with scalping's first. The contractors must be laughing at their incoming if this is truly fixed.
