Deep potholes have opened up on nearside of road about 100 metres on Heathfield Road after joining it from Sheepcote Lane. Not visible at night and just in the right place to catch my nearside wheels and jolt my car a couple of nights ago.

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later

Basically, the whole nearside and middle of the Heathfield Road from Sheepcote Lane to its junction with Bourne End Road and Cliveden Road is in a shocking state. Holes have been filled on an ad hoc basis so many times and these repairs do not last long. It must be time to resurface the complete section of road and stop the temporary filling of numerous holes every few weeks.

  • It took longer than I expected to fill the holes but at least it's done and been made safer. But I do not expect the repair will last for long. There is so much speeding traffic and there are so many repaired holes on the road between Sheepcote Lane and the junction with Bourne End Road. Surely it's time to resurface the whole stretch of road and put a speed limit of 40mph on it (30mph from Bourne End Road to Huntscombe Lane).
